T ~6- <br /> . probationary Period <br /> a. For new personnel , there shall be a probationaryperiod <br /> of six months. During the probationary period, a <br /> employee may be terminated without prior warning gar <br /> without cause. During the probationary period, the <br /> Board shall review the employee' s record from time <br /> time, and in no instance shall the employment be made <br /> regular without an approval by the Board after a review <br /> of a Performance Appraisal prepared by the Department <br /> Head. <br /> b. During the probationary period , an employee will not be <br /> entitled to sick leave,,' education benefits and vacation <br /> leave. An employee <br /> ill be immediately entitled to Group Health Insurance <br /> coverage under the Town' s plans and to Holiday pay <br /> commencing from the date of his employment. <br /> C, After satisfactory completion of the probationary prod, <br /> sick leave and vacation leave shall be accrued retroactive <br /> to the date of employment* <br /> do Regular part-time employees, except Special Police <br /> Officers, shall be entitled to all fringe benefits on a <br /> pro-rated basis, on the same conditions that applies t <br /> regular full-time emrployees e <br /> The probationary period shall not be waived for any employee <br /> without the express authorization of the Board,. <br /> .
