3 <br /> Those regular employees not required to work on the legal <br /> holidays listed above shall receive their regular week ' s pay <br /> for the week in which that holiday falls . <br /> b. Those regular employees who are required to work on the <br /> legal Holidays listed above shall receive their regular <br /> week ' s pay for the weep in which that holiday falls, and <br /> shall receive an additional day off as a compensatory time, <br /> C . The Fire Chief (Chapter 48, Section 7 and the Police <br /> Chief ( Chapter 17, Section 17F) shall be paid statutory <br /> holiday pay for time worked . <br /> Employees shall be entitled to these designated holidays <br /> on the following terms : The employee shall be granted one <br /> ( 1 ) day ' s pay at his regular rate ., However, the employee ; <br /> a. Dust work his last scheduled work shift before the <br /> holiday and his first scheduled work shift after the Holiday, <br /> OR N <br /> b. dust be excused by his Department Head . <br /> Regular part--tune employees shall be paid on a pro-rated <br /> basis, based on the average daily nate of pay for the prior <br /> six months . <br /> i i . VACATION POLICY <br /> 1 A 1 1 full time employees arid all regular part-time <br /> employees who average twenty hours or more per week <br /> shall be entitle to vacations as follows : <br /> . Upon satisfactory completion of the probationary period <br /> of six months, and until completion of the first year of <br /> service, an employee shall be eligible to accrue one-half day <br /> f vacation for each month worked retroactive to date of <br /> -14- <br />
