Compensatory time must be approved in advance either by <br /> the Board or the Department Head. No more than two days <br /> of compensatory time may be taken in any week; compensatory <br /> time is limited to twelve 1 days during each twelve 1 <br /> month period, beginnin4 July and ending June 30, except upon <br /> the express written approval of the Board of Selectmen. <br /> I . PAID HOLIDAYS <br /> 1 The following days shall be recognized as legal Holidays : <br /> New Year ' s Day; Martin Luther King Day, Washington' s Birth- <br /> day, Patriot ' s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor <br /> Day, Columbus Day, Veteran' s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas <br /> Eve if it falls on a weekday), and Christmas Davy. <br /> a., Those regular employees not rein.red to work on the legal <br /> holidays listed above shall receive their regular week ' s pay <br /> for the week in which that holiday falls . <br /> b.
