LEAVING TOWN EMPLOYMENT <br /> How To Give Notice <br /> If you plan to leave the employment of the Town of Mashpee, <br /> we expect as much notice as possible as a courtesy to us to <br /> give u time to find a replacement for you. <br /> If you terminate your Town employment and are immediately - <br /> employed by another Massachusetts public a ency� your <br /> accumulated retirement benefits may be transferred to your <br /> credit in the retirement system of your new employers <br /> Otherwise, you may choose to receive a lump sum payment o <br /> your accumulated deductions and interest i you are under age <br /> 55 when you leave and have less than 10 years creditable <br /> service, <br /> If you withdraw your deductions plus interest and return to <br /> work in the Town within two years, you must re-deposit the <br /> amount -withdrawn plus the interest that would have been added <br /> had the funds remained on deposit before you return to the <br /> 'own payroll.
