Receive an initial, interview with the Personnel Board, <br /> Department bead and/or designee. A second interview <br /> is not uncommon. <br /> 3. once the Personnel Board and the Department Head feels <br /> the candidate's qualifications are right for a position, <br /> the candidate will he advised that he/she is a semi- <br /> finalist. <br /> e i- <br /> finali t# At this point, a background cher[.: will be <br /> conducted. <br /> . If the Personnel Board and Department Head are certain <br /> that the best candidate has been chosen, the candidate's <br /> name will be recommended to the Executive Secretary who <br /> will then submit recommendations to the Board of j <br /> Selectmen. <br /> . If selected, the candidate then must complete W4, <br /> Retirement Forms, Health Insurance Forms, etc. (Personnel <br /> Office) and undergo a physical exam. <br />
