Minutes of the Selectmen' s Meeting <br /> Monday, December 30, 1974 <br /> All Selectmen, Executive Secretary and Town Counsel present. <br /> 1) Mrs . B. Pocknett, met with Selectmen requesting the use <br /> the Town- Hall February 22 , 1975 for a wedding reception. <br /> A fee of 30.00will be required and arrangements. made with <br /> the Town Hall Custodian, Lansing Pocknett for his services <br /> to clean the hall for normal business. <br /> 2) A call to Town Insurance- Agent, Sequoia, for a determination <br /> regarding town employees driving town vehicles. Mr. Graham <br /> assured this office, all drivers .including dispatchers are <br /> covered by insurance while performing town..bu-sines. <br /> 3) George Green, Highway Surveyor met with Selectmen to review <br /> the arti.eles which relate to his department ; all arts c: e.�s <br /> are ,justified and approved, to appear in the warrant. <br /> Mr. Green also invited the Selectmen to.-.`a meeting-.to be held <br /> at the Red Top Steak House on January 15, 1975 at 7:30p.m. , <br /> regarding information concerning new laws from the State, <br /> covering Chapter monies- and how it is disbursed. Executive <br /> Secretary will represent the Board; expenses will be paid <br /> by the Selectmen for this important conference.. <br /> 4) Review and approval of the warrant was received by the Board. <br /> Copies have been given to the Finance Committee for their <br /> recommendations. Articles- pertaining to the Building Inspector' s <br /> salary are recommended. as follows : Salary pro-rated :,for the <br /> six month period 5,000 ( $192.30 weekly) ; Expenses - for a <br /> six monthr period 600. 00 ( $100.00 monthly. ) <br /> Executive Secretary is requested to discuss this with the <br /> Personnel Board. <br /> Letter from Building Inspector, Harold Collins recommending <br /> and requesting approval for inspections fees. 'A Certificate <br /> of Inspection' for all places of assembly has been set by the <br /> State for the amount of 025.00 A recommended ' Certificate of <br /> Occupancy' which must be issued and a fee set by the municipality, <br /> a sum of $5.00 each unit. <br /> It is the feeling of the Board, each dwelling family unit <br /> should be �10,0� A consideration of 45.00 for each .multi-unit. <br /> Neighboring town will be called to acquire figures for <br /> compari son. No decision has been- made. <br /> 5 ) Henry Ehrisman met with the Selectmen to invite them and <br /> the Executive Secretary to the next meeting of the Peninsula <br /> Council on Saturday , January 25, 1975 at 10a.m. <br />
