I N F O R M A T I O N � - 1. Unanswered question from the week of 8/15/79. A Do you wish to have Frank Hicks continue his representation for the Town with CETA, Transportation, Manpower, ETC. . . ? 2. We have a leak in the Highway water system between the pump and the well. The Town put in a. tankless system 2 years ago. Frank thinks he has solved the problem. 3. Meeting with the Harbormaster. He needs a boat. The repairs to the present boat were of no value as it is believed the engine has an internal crack. (Amount for work done so far not known) What do you want the Harbormaster to do about complaints, i.e. , speeding, debris, excess wakes and storm assistance . What do you want him to do about the boatF Fix it up? Use it as a trade-in? Ask for a boat at the next town meeting? 4. Plumber, Jeffery Mills , was called in to do the work on the boiler system which was required by the boiler inspector. At the same time he turned off the hot water. 5. Interviews conducted by Selectmen Garland and Benway for the Supt. of Sts. position 8/20/79 . Interviewed were: George Tubiano, Wilbur Oakley and John Larson q-Tony Petruzzi 6. Don Cassano, grantswriter, called re Outdoor Recreation Plan. It seems he spoke with one of you gentlemen about working through the Conservation Commission as we do not have a 5-year recreation plan. Don is willing to assist the Conservation draw up a 5-yr. long-range plan for Parks and Recreation in order to apply for some funds. There will be no cost to the Town. Yes , you saw this same item last week. Any response??? 7. We are receiving excellent applications for Secretary to the Board. 8. Harold is back to work and will be here Wed. eve . LAST MINUTE: Copy of Atty. Kistin' s ltr. to T. C. re Dzialo. and a ltr. from Dr. Geiss stating "Gerry" has a herniated disc suspect and is physically unfit for any work at this date. 9. Fire Chief Willis ' wife had a baby girl. He will be on vacation 8/23/24/27 - 31st.
