BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES-REVISION <br /> MONDAY, JANUARY 3r 1994 - <br /> Present : Selectman Vaooro, Selectman Mills, Selectman Jacobson, <br /> Selectman Caf fyn, Selectman Costa <br /> Executive Secretary Robert Whritenour <br /> Guests : Greg 'Taylor, Deidre Greelish, Marie Solley, <br /> Bill Jones , Paul Ott, Al Polsi , Denise Sullivan, <br /> Marcia King, Peter Dini io, Paul Griffin. <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Vaccaro at 6 : 30 p.m. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> December 1 , 1393 Regular and Executive Sessions : <br /> Selectman Caffyn asked that the Regular Session minutes of <br /> Monday, December 13 , 1393 be field at this time for further <br /> review. <br /> ***The notion was made by Selectman Ca f f yn to approve the <br /> Executive Session minutes of Monday, December 13 , 1933 as <br /> presented. The motion was seconded by Selectman Mills, VOTE: <br /> Unanimous . 3-0 . ' Selectman Jacobson and Selectman Costa <br /> abstained from voting. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE <br /> Communi ation from Executive Office of Communities and <br /> Development : <br /> Correspondence was received from EOCD dated December 20 , <br /> 1993 indicating that Masheets FY 1993 Community Development Fund <br /> application has been selected for funding in the amount of <br /> $123, 357. The award was one of thirty-four grants funded b <br /> E CD's FY 1993 allocation of $23 .6 million. <br /> The award will allow Mashpee to implement activities to <br /> renovate a structure adjacent to the Wam anoag Indian Tribal <br /> Council Center to provide social services to Native Americans; <br /> fund three social services and conduct an affordable housing <br /> needs assessment. The three social services include; The Thorne <br /> Clinic support program for Mashp ee children of domestic violence <br /> the Visiting Nurses Association pilot parenting program for at- <br /> risk families and Legal Services battered women ' s legal <br /> assistance project . <br /> Communication from SEMASS: <br /> Correspondence was received from SEMASS dated December 15t <br /> 1933 relative to emission and ash testing requirements . As <br /> mandated by law, the testing fee per ton in 1994 will be per <br /> tan pursuant to the requirements of the Waste Acquisition <br /> Agreement . *A copy of the memo will be forwarded to the Board of <br /> Health for review, <br />
