Finance Committee Request: Finance Committee request of$10,000 to fund bulls nailing of financial reports to citizens and financial seminar attendance. Motion made by Selectman dills to omit the Finance Committee request of $10,000 from the budget. Motion seconded by Selectman Caf yn. VOTE: -1. Selectman Caffyn is in opposition. *Finance Committee Mee March 8, 1994 7:00 p.rn. `E SFC/School Committee Meeting: March lo, 1994 7.-00 p.m. Middle School Hunan Resource Director: Position proposed for the sung of$36,262.40 to include benefits, Selectman Vaccaro indicated that the position is justified to increase the efficiency and productivity of the Personnel Department and relieve the Executive Secretary from training and program duties. The addition of ars Affirmative ative Action Officer is a necessity indicated Selectman Jacobson. The position will add professionalism to the office f the Personnel Board. Selectman Mills agreed. when the Personnel Assistant is away from the office, there is no one available to represent the Personnel Department. Selectman Caffyn indicated that she is opposed to the position of Human Resource Director and added salary/wage increase to the department. Adding another layer is not looking carefully into the department indicated Selectman Gaff n. The entire departmental spending should be reviewed.
