Motion <br /> seconded by Selectman Costa. VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Selectman Jacobson absent. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Gaff n to approve the Step <br /> Increase of the Director of Public Works to Step III, <br /> retroactive; September 26, 1993, Motion seconded b <br /> Selectman Costa. VT : Unanimous. - . <br /> Selectman Jacobson absent. <br /> Memo from the Personnel Administrator re: Work Week: <br /> Communication was received from Marilyn Farren,Personnel <br /> Administrator dated March 9, 1994 regarding the Finance Committee's <br /> request to clarify the PAP, Section 5.8 work week. <br /> As indicated by Mrs. Farren, management and professional employee's <br /> are exempt employee's and paid a salary to perform their job. Managers <br /> are not paid overtime and are expected to work at least forty hours per <br /> week. Managers are not paid a lunch boar. <br /> Selectman Caffyn requested to review the compensation time policy <br /> for employee's working in excess of forty hours per week. <br /> `It is the consensus of the board to submit communication to Department <br /> Meads for clarification purposes regarding the FAP Work Week. <br /> Mr. Whritenour noted that there is no abuse of policy at this time. <br /> Appointment of Council on Aging Member: <br /> As indicated by Betty Jones, Chairman of the Council on Aging, the <br /> C A voted unanimously at their meeting of March 9, 1994 to recommend <br /> B. Jean Thomas be appointed as a new member for a term to expire <br /> 6130194. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Mills to appoint B. Jean Thomas <br /> as Council on Aging Member as recommended for a term <br /> to expire 6/30/94. lotion seconded by Selectman Costa. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. Selectman Jacobson absent, <br />
