Unanimous. 40 <br /> - . <br /> Selectman Jacobson absent. <br /> Authorization to Execute DARE Grant Contract: <br /> Conununication was received from Mark Mogan,Executive Office of <br /> Public Safety dated March 9, 1994 relative to the execution of the DARE <br /> Grant Program Contract. <br /> It was noted the Mashpee was recently awarded the sum of$37,800 to <br /> aid in the implementation of the DARE Program. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Mills to execute the DARE Grant <br /> Program Contract as presented. Motion seconded by <br /> Selectman Caffyn. VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Selectman Jacobson absent. <br /> Street Betterment Abatements: <br /> Mr. Writenour presented a list of recommendations for action of <br /> applications for Street Betterments. As noted, the abatements conform <br /> to the provisions of the MOL, Chapter 80. Assisting the Executive <br /> Secretary with the abatement review were'T'own Counsel and Assessor; <br /> David Bailey. <br /> Mr.Whritenour recommended the Board approve two abatements <br /> t %reduction due to ubuildable lots and deny two requested <br /> abatements for reason; main frontage not on bettered street. <br />
