Motion <br /> seconded by Selectman Caffyn, VOTE: [unanimous. -o. <br /> Selectman Jacobson abstained from voting. <br /> JR/SR HIGH SCHOOL: <br /> Approval of Architect Contract: _ <br /> The architectural firm of Symmes,I aini and McKee Associates,Inc. <br /> submitted a revised fee proposal for the Boards consideration to provide <br /> design services for the new Jr Sr High School facility. <br /> As noted, Selectman man Vaccaro, Selectman l ells, the Executive Secretary <br /> and r Sr High School Building Committee members Paul griffin and <br /> Peter I ini io assisted in contract negotiations with the selected architectural <br /> firm. <br /> The revised agreement proposal is based on a building size of approximately <br /> 183,000 square feet. Symmes,Main' and McKee has estimated the design <br /> services to amount to the sura of 1,454,000. <br /> Design criteria of$110 per square foot will be included in the contract <br /> document to be reviewed by Town Counsel if the Board agree's with <br /> the proposal in principal. <br /> It was noted that the office of the Superintendent is not included in the <br /> design of the high school facility. Mr., <br /> Griffin indicated that the State <br /> does not reimburse this type of expenditure. It is anticipated that Mashpee <br /> will be eligible for 58% Mate reimbursement. <br />
