For the record, Selectman Costa indicated that Selectman Jacobson vas sworn in as Selectman at 11:30 .m. today. Selectman Jacobson looks great and is looking forward to returning to the Board of Selectmen for another torn of service to 1lashpee. Street Sweeping Contract: As indicated by Mr. whritenour, the Director of Public Works has requested the Board rescind the contract for Street Sweeping with Atlantic Sweep since this f=is unable to provide more than their initial four days of service. lr.Taylor has recommended to award the contract to the second low bid firm of William O'Brien, Inc. for the sung of$476 per eight hour day. Motion made by Selectman Costa to rescind the contract for Street Sweeping with Atlantic Sweep and award the contract to the firm of 'William O'Brien, Inc, for the sura of $476 per eight hour day as recommended. Motion seconded by Selectman Caffyn. VOTE: Unanimous'. -o. Selectman Jacobson absent. JR/SR HIGH SCHOOL: Letter of Intent for Chartwell as Project Manager: Mr.whritenour recommended the Board prepare a Letter of Intent to Chartwell and Co. to provide professional services to the Town if the contract is not approved in one week. It was noted that the architectural firm of Symmes, Maini and McKee holds the current contract as approved by Town Counsel. Motion made by Selectman Costa to prepare a Fetter of Intent to Chartwell and Co, for Project Management Services a recommended. Motion seconded by Selectman Vaccaro. VOTE: Unanimous. #o.
