Banners' Association re: <br /> Soft Second Loan Program, <br /> The Soft Second Loan Program designed by the Massachusetts Bankers' <br /> Association allows families earning less than 80 percent of the median income <br /> to qualify for a mortgage to purchase a home indicated Mr. Whritenour. <br /> In response to the programs success, the Massachusetts Legislature has <br /> appropriated 1 million in funding for FY 94 to expand the program. <br /> Communities interested in participating are requested to submit a letter <br /> Of interest to the Executive office of Communities and Development by <br /> Friday, May 20, 1994 indicated Mr. Whritenour. <br /> Motion rade by Selectman Vaccaro to authorize the Executive <br /> Secretary to submit a later of interest to EOCD on behalf o <br /> the Board of Selectmen. Selectman Jacobson absent. <br /> Correspondence from the Police Department ire: <br /> Reserve Fund Transfer; <br /> Communication was received from Maurice Cooper,Deputy Chief of <br /> Police dated April 27, 1994 regarding the FY 94 budget deficiency of <br /> the Police Department Expense Account. <br /> As indicated by the Executive Secretary, a request for transfer from the <br /> Reserve Receipts Account in the amount of$8,905 was submitted to the <br /> Finance Committee to accommodate the budget deficiency. The request <br /> for transfer was denied by the Finance Committee. <br /> Mr.Whritenour indicated that the defier was a result of increases in <br /> public utilities and additional gas expenditures for the Police cruiser vehicles, <br />
