r Pager Board of Selectmen Minutes May 9, 1994 Correspondence from Police Department re: Reserve Fund 'Transfer: *Selectiman Bills directed the Executive Secretary to submit a memo t the Finance Committee requesting reconsideration of the reserve fund transfer. It is the recommendation of the Board of Selectmen to maintain Police Department standards to include vehicle/cruiser usage. The Finance Committee will be requested to give rationale with regards to transfer denial. Resignation of Patrolman Randy eMello: Selectman Caffyn read aloud the resignation as received from Patrolman Randy Ie1ello effective June 1, 1994. (enclosed) Selectman Caffrn indicated that she requested this item to be placed o the Selectmen's agenda of May 9, 1994. This is a serious concern and should be addressed by the Board of Selectmen indicated Selectman Caffn. NEW BUSINESS: Proclamation for Doris Iottride: Selectman Mills read aloud the Proclamation for-Doris Dottridge who has provided sixteen years of dedicated service to Mashpee. (enclosed) Motion made by Selectman Gaff n to proclaim May 18, 1994 as Doris Dottridge Day. Motion seconded by Selectman Vaccaro. VOTE: Unanimous. #o. Selectman Jacobson absent. It was noted that the revised original proclamation will be in the Office of the Board of Selectmen for appropriate signatures. Proclamation for Mashpee Senior Week: 4 Motion made by Selectman Vaccaro to place the Proclamation for Mashpee Senior Week on the Board's agenda. Motion seconded by Selectman Costa. VOTE: Unanimous. -o. Selectman Jacobson absent. Mr. whritenour read aloud the Proclamation of Mashpee Senior Week to encourage all Mashpee ee residents to join in the celebration. (enclosed) Motion made by Selectman Costa to proclaim May 9 - 14, 1994 as Mashpee Senior Week. Motion seconded by Selectman Mills. VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. Selectman Jacobson absent,
