Page 2 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Nautes <br /> May 23, 1994 <br /> Jr/Sr High School Building Committee re: Community <br /> School Space: <br /> Peter Dini io was present to discuss his memo of May 11, 1994 relative <br /> to the issue of office space for the Leisure Services Department as it relates <br /> to the high school building project. <br /> As noted by Mr. Dini io, the Jr Sr High School Building Committee has <br /> included 400 square feet of office space for the Leisure Services Department <br /> in the schematic design of the high school facility. <br /> Gus Frederic , the Leisure Services Director indicated that the allocation <br /> of 400 square feet is sufficient to maintain Leisure Service operations within <br /> the high school facility. <br /> Steven Greelish, a member of the Jr Sr Nigh School Building Committee <br /> recommended to dedicate the high school for use as a community school <br /> facility and allow the voters to determine the construction options. <br /> `1t is the consensus of the Board to allocate 400 square feet in the schematic <br /> design of the high school facility as recommended. <br /> Senior Citizen of the Year: <br /> Selectman hills presented Betty Jones with a certificate of recognition <br /> as Senior Citizen of the Year. Mrs. Jones was nominated by the Council <br /> on Aging for this award provided by Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands. <br /> Anthony Ferragamo r : Comprehensive Plan: <br /> Tony Ferragamo, Chairman of the Planning Board and Tom Fuda.la, the <br /> Town Planner were present to discuss the Comprehensive flan schedule <br /> with the Board of Selectmen. <br /> As noted by Mr. Ferragamo, the Comprehensive Plan has been further refined <br /> and amended by the Torn Planner as it relates to the timetable for task <br /> completion. <br /> The planning Board serving as the Local Planning Committee has deemed <br /> the report acceptable indicated lir. Ferragamo. If the process is to proceed, <br /> all Town Departments and entities involved with the plan should by directed <br /> by the Board of Selectmen to complete the required tasks within the anticipated <br /> time frame suggested Mr. Ferragamo. <br />
