Page 2 Board of Selectmen Nautes May 23, 1994 Jr/Sr High School Building Committee re: Community School Space: Peter Dini io was present to discuss his memo of May 11, 1994 relative to the issue of office space for the Leisure Services Department as it relates to the high school building project. As noted by Mr. Dini io, the Jr Sr High School Building Committee has included 400 square feet of office space for the Leisure Services Department in the schematic design of the high school facility. Gus Frederic , the Leisure Services Director indicated that the allocation of 400 square feet is sufficient to maintain Leisure Service operations within the high school facility. Steven Greelish, a member of the Jr Sr Nigh School Building Committee recommended to dedicate the high school for use as a community school facility and allow the voters to determine the construction options. `1t is the consensus of the Board to allocate 400 square feet in the schematic design of the high school facility as recommended. Senior Citizen of the Year: Selectman hills presented Betty Jones with a certificate of recognition as Senior Citizen of the Year. Mrs. Jones was nominated by the Council on Aging for this award provided by Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands. Anthony Ferragamo r : Comprehensive Plan: Tony Ferragamo, Chairman of the Planning Board and Tom Fuda.la, the Town Planner were present to discuss the Comprehensive flan schedule with the Board of Selectmen. As noted by Mr. Ferragamo, the Comprehensive Plan has been further refined and amended by the Torn Planner as it relates to the timetable for task completion. The planning Board serving as the Local Planning Committee has deemed the report acceptable indicated lir. Ferragamo. If the process is to proceed, all Town Departments and entities involved with the plan should by directed by the Board of Selectmen to complete the required tasks within the anticipated time frame suggested Mr. Ferragamo.
