■ Page Board of Selectmen Minutes May 23, 1994 Request for Permit to Move a Building: Motion made by Selectman Costa to approve the permit request of Hayden Building Movers as specified on May 24, 1994. Motion seconded by Selectman Caffyn. VOTE: Unanimous. 4.0. 8:33 p.m. Recess 8:40 p.m. Meeting resumed. Cape Cod Hospital Auxiliary Annual Tag Day: Communication was received from Dorothy Rowe, President of the Cape Cod Hospital Auxiliary dated May 9, 1994 requesting permission to solicit funds for the Cape Cod Hospital within 1lashpee on Thursday, August 4, 1994 from 8:00 a.m. to 100 p.m. with a rain date of August 11, 1994, Tag Day is a fund raising event sponsored by the Cape Cod Hospital Auxiliary for the community hospital. Motion made by Selectman Vaccaro to grant permission to the Cape Cod Hospital Auxiliary for their annual Tag Day as requested. Motion seconded by Selectman Costa. VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0, Executive Secretary's Report: The Execudve Secretary submitted ars updated report to the Board relative to recent activities in the Selectmen's Office dated May 1 , 1994. The financial analysis of the Cape#Cod Municipal Health Group dated April 30, 1993 and pnl 30, 1994 was included for review. Notion made by Selectman Costa to accept the Report as furnished by the Executive Secretary dated May 16, 1994. Motion seconded by Selectman Vaccaro, VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. *It i's the consensus of the Board to review the report further. Additional questions will be addressed at the next scheduled meeting or on an individual basis with Ir. Whritenour. Request to Change lame of Senior Center: Motion made by Selectman Costa to place on the agenda, the Request as received from the Council on Aging to change the name of the Senior Center. Motion seconded by Selectman Vaccaro. VOTE: Unanimous. 4#0. Communication was received from Betty Jones, Chairman of the Council on Aging dated May 19, 1994 relative to the recent loss of Carol Jacobson. (enclosed)
