f ' Page Board of Selectmen Naut s June 6, 1994 Vote of Acceptance for School Early retirement Incentive Program: Motion madeby Selectman Vaccaroto accept the Town Meeting recommendation to accept the provisions of Section 83 o Chapter 71 of the Acts of 1993, as amendedby Sections 265-267 of Chapter 110 of the Acts of 1993 authorizing the Town o offer teachers employed by the Mashpee Public Schools the Early Retirement Incentive Program for 1994. Motion seconded by Selectman Costa. VOTE: Unanimous. 3.0. Selectman Caffyn abstained from voting. *Selectman Caffyn recommended to obtain a commitment from the School Department to reflect the savings related to the above. Approval of Swim Meet Banners: A memo was received from Robert Sullivan requesting the Board allow the placement of Swim deet Banners over Route 151 at the telephone poles before the rotary and at the intersection of Route 130 and Great Deck Road North. The banners will be of no cost to the Town to be placed before the Flag Day parade and the super swim meet; June 11 th and June 25th. It was noted that the Chief of Police has pledged a police carr for safety during the placement of banners. Motion made by Selectman Costa to approve the Swim Meet Panner placement over the Town roads as specified on June 11th � and ,dune 25, 1994. Motion seconded by Selectman Caffyn. VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. Flag Day: June 11, 1994 1:00 p.m. 1t was noted that funds will be sought to support two bands for music on `lag Day in the amount of$800. The sura of$1500 has been allocated for 1995 to support Flag Day activities. Annual DPW Bids for Approval: The Director of Public works submitted a bid summary packet to the Board to provide the Town with goods and services effective July 1, 1994 through June 3 , 1995. Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to approve the bid packet as recommended by the DPW Director. Motion seconded by Selectman Costa. VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0.
