The selection should be made <br /> in early December to appoint a new Chief of Police in January of 1995. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to move forward with <br /> the Police Chief Search Strategy process as outlined to <br /> include advertisement procedures as recommended for the sum <br /> of $1000. Motion seconded by Selectman Vaccaro. VOTE: <br /> Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to advertise for <br /> Consultant to aid in the Chief of Police Search Strategy <br /> process as recommended utilizing the quotation/negotiation <br /> process. Motion seconded by Selectman Vaccaro. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> It was noted that fees for Consulting services and the Assessment Center <br /> will derive from the Legal/En gineerirg �onstlting budget. Advertisement <br /> fees will derive from the Sele tme s budget. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Approval to Expend waterway Improvement Funds: <br /> Pen Gordon and Perry Ellis were present to request the Board's approval <br /> to purchase a new 88 h.p. Johnson outboard motor for the sura of$3712 <br /> and rine gilman buoys for the sung of$3747. Funds will be utilized from <br /> the waterways Improvement Fund. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Vaccaro to approve the request to <br /> expend $7459 from the waterways Improvement Fund as out- <br /> lined pending the 'Town A'ccountant's approval. Motion <br /> seconded by Selectman Caffyn. NOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> Approval of waterway Assistants: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to appoint ]Melinda Lazaron <br /> and Sean Davis as part-time waterway Assistants for a term <br /> to expire June 30, 1995 as recommended. Motion seconded <br /> by Selectman Vaccaro. VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br />
