It will be the next foundation adjacent
to the bank location......
Petti: So it is not in line with Stop & Shop?
Rymsha: No.......
Mills: If we are not sure if it's within the 500', I think it would not be prudent
for us to take action on the transfer of location. We can take all the other
actions. When you are sure of your dimensions...if it's within the 500'
is there some special type of hearing that we have to hold Bob?
Whritenour: No, they have complied with the 500' rule. That is they have to be
notified. Then the Board has to take under consideration whether its
500' or 600'...
Mills: For the public, there will be a row of buildings in the back in between
the liquor store and school property.
Caffyn: I still have a problem and I think maybe its a problem with the
developers. I think when we are shifting a liquor store, and I was
unaware of it, the school property was there. I was thinking a condo-
minimum was ...I think its a critical concern. It is not.....that any liquor
would be sold, but it is a point of influence to children that perhaps
they would be very close to a liquor store.
I think that should have been thought of and perhaps should have been
thought of when the plan was to put a liquor store..and to change it.
I don't know and at this point I'm not sure if I can support it. I
certainly can support the change of name and change of manager. I'm
not sure that I can support the change of location until....I could feel
that this was comfortable were it would not influence children, not just
the purchase, but it would include the location of the liquor store.
...Maybe seeing the building we would look at it differently and that's
why the problem-the building isn't there.
•
