{ <br /> Page 13 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> September 13, 1994 <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Jr/Sr High School Building Update: <br /> Future October agenda regarding architectural drawings for the <br /> new high school facility. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Communication from the Chairman of the Economic <br /> Development Committee: <br /> Correspondence was received from Sid Stern, Chairman of the <br /> Economic Development Con nnittee dated August 24, 1994 relative t <br /> the proposed location of the-3rd District Court. <br /> The Committee has requested information relative to the statin of <br /> the proposal and the sentiment of the Board of Selectmen with <br /> regards to this issue. <br /> `Consensus of the Board to send a letter of support to the Legislator <br /> for locating the 3rd District Court in 1ashpee, <br /> *Recommended letter of support to Economic Development Committee. <br /> Issues for proposed location to be determined by Zoning Board and <br /> not Econorrdc Development Committee. <br /> Ponce Chief Search: <br /> The Board received a draft questionnaire from MMA Consulting Croup <br /> dated September 8, 1994 relative to the Police Chief Search. As noted <br /> by Selectrnan Vaccaro,it is necessary to make miner changes to the <br /> draft as submitted. <br /> The questionnaire to be revised by The Survey Center is recommended <br /> for distribution to the Police Department,public officials and interested <br /> partes of the general public. It was noted that the questionnaire submitted <br /> to the Police Department will differ from the public officials/general <br /> public questionnaire. <br /> Selectman Vaccaro,owner of The Survey Center has offered to tabulate <br /> the survey results at no cost to the Town. The results would thea be <br /> returned to the I TA Consulting Croup for evaluation purposes. <br /> The Surer Center has also offered to make payment on return <br /> postage, again at no additional cost to the Town. <br />
