{ Page 13 Board of Selectmen Minutes September 13, 1994 COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: Jr/Sr High School Building Update: Future October agenda regarding architectural drawings for the new high school facility. OLD BUSINESS: Communication from the Chairman of the Economic Development Committee: Correspondence was received from Sid Stern, Chairman of the Economic Development Con nnittee dated August 24, 1994 relative t the proposed location of the-3rd District Court. The Committee has requested information relative to the statin of the proposal and the sentiment of the Board of Selectmen with regards to this issue. `Consensus of the Board to send a letter of support to the Legislator for locating the 3rd District Court in 1ashpee, *Recommended letter of support to Economic Development Committee. Issues for proposed location to be determined by Zoning Board and not Econorrdc Development Committee. Ponce Chief Search: The Board received a draft questionnaire from MMA Consulting Croup dated September 8, 1994 relative to the Police Chief Search. As noted by Selectrnan Vaccaro,it is necessary to make miner changes to the draft as submitted. The questionnaire to be revised by The Survey Center is recommended for distribution to the Police Department,public officials and interested partes of the general public. It was noted that the questionnaire submitted to the Police Department will differ from the public officials/general public questionnaire. Selectman Vaccaro,owner of The Survey Center has offered to tabulate the survey results at no cost to the Town. The results would thea be returned to the I TA Consulting Croup for evaluation purposes. The Surer Center has also offered to make payment on return postage, again at no additional cost to the Town.
