VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> Memo from the Herring Warden re: Herring Runs: <br /> I <br /> Communi ation vas received from Leigh Potter,Herring Warden <br /> dated August 18, 1994 requesting the Board ban the taking of <br /> Herring from all Herring Runs in Mashpee for a period of two gears <br /> beginning in the spring of 1995. <br /> Richard Shaughnessy was present to discuss this concern with the <br /> Board. As noted, the ban will increase the reproduction of herring <br /> to quantities similar to those found in the late 1989s. The Department <br /> M rine Fisheries fuller supports the moratorium for the taking o <br /> herring indicated Mr. Shaughnessy. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to ban the taking of <br /> Herring from all Herring Duns for a period of two years <br /> beginning in the spring of 1995 as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Vaccaro. <br /> VOTE:E: Unanimous. 3-0. <br />
