Page 2 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> NEnutes <br /> September 13, 1994 <br /> DARE Program Signs; <br /> Mr. Taylor recommended the Board consider placing the suns at the <br /> entrances to school grounds to provide daily enforcement to the <br /> children in the DARE program. <br /> Recommendations suggested by the Board included the placement of the <br /> DARE signs at Heritage Park, the Police and Fire Department <br /> entrance along Route 151 and public properties to promote public <br /> awareness. <br /> *It is the consensus of the Board to authorize the Director of <br /> Public works and Chief of Police to determine sign locations. <br /> It was noted that the Department of Public works will install the <br /> signs at selected locations. <br /> Traffic Signal Agreements for Route 28 at Donna's Lane <br /> and Job's Fishing Road: <br /> Mr. Taylor presented two draft Traffic Signal Agreements for the <br /> Route 28 at Donna's Dane &Job's Fishing Road project dated <br /> September 7, 1994. <br /> The Massachusetts Highway Department MBDhas approved the <br /> design of the project, but will not approve the permit for the <br /> traffic signals until the Traffic Signal Agreements have been <br /> executed. <br /> N r. Whritenour indicated that the agreements are in First draft form <br /> at this time. There are further details to finalize prior to the Board <br /> f Selectmen's approval. <br /> It was noted that agreements must also be signed with the Massachusetts <br /> Highway Department and Field's Point Limited Partnership. <br /> *leo action necessary at this time. <br /> 7;26 p.m. Recess. Meetingto re-convene in the Great Room, Torn Hall. � <br /> p.m. Meeting resumed. <br /> Discussion re; Mobile Hone Parks Rent Control Petition: <br /> Selectman Mills opened the discussion relative to the petition article of the <br /> Lakeside'frailer Park Homeowners Association for the establishment of <br /> Rent Control for the 1994 October Annual Town Meeting. <br /> Selectman Millsindicated that Legislature adopted a general rent control <br /> statute in 1970 that could be accepted by cities or towns with a <br /> population of 50,000 or more. <br />
