Page 10 <br /> t <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> September 2 , 1994 <br /> 7:47 p.m. Fennucci Bros., Inc. b avy's Locher: <br /> Selectman Trills opened the Public Hearing on the request of <br /> Fennuci Bros. Inc., d b a avy's Docker for an Entertainment <br /> License to include the following: Disc-Jockey, Recorded Music <br /> and Dancing by Patrons. <br /> Attorney Pamela Dagenais and Manager Jeffrey I olinsky were <br /> present to discuss the license application with the Board. <br /> It was noted that Fennuci Bros. Inc., d/b/a avy's Docker <br /> rents the establishment from Zine Cloutier. It is not known <br /> if taxes are paid to date with the Town. <br /> Mr. lolinsky indicated that the establishment had entertainment <br /> for seven Saturday nights without realizing that an entertainment 5 <br /> license was required by the Town. <br /> The intent of the license application is to schedule entertainment <br /> on Friday and Saturday nights only on a year round basis. <br /> Discussion followed with reference to a recent incident at the establish- <br /> ment which resulted in an arrest on the date of August 2 , 1994. <br /> Selectman Costa made reference to problems that occurred in the past <br /> at this establishment under a different name and management. He <br /> expressed preference to maintain the established reputation as a <br /> family style restaurant. <br /> With regards to the recent incident, Mr.I olinsl y indicated that he <br /> discussed the problem with the Mashpee Police Department. Actions <br /> will be taken to secure the facility from incidence. <br /> i With our own security, dancing and playing music should not b <br /> offensive indicated Mr. Iolinsk . If patrons do not have proper <br /> identification, they will not enter the establishment. The past actions <br /> of a fear people should not have to ruin it for the others indicated <br /> Mr, l; olinsky. Many people have stated that they want to go to a place <br /> to dance and have fun without going to a strip joint stated Mr. Ioinsky. <br /> Mr. I olinsky indicatedthat he is not aware of the past activities <br /> of the establishment prior to v 's Docker. It was noted that the <br /> largest crowd entering the facility was 144 people as taken by head <br /> count at the door. <br /> Chief Frye indicated that to utilize a Police officer for detail at the <br /> establishment during entertainment will create liability for the <br /> Police officer and for the establishment . <br />
