Page 10 t Board of Selectmen Minutes September 2 , 1994 7:47 p.m. Fennucci Bros., Inc. b avy's Locher: Selectman Trills opened the Public Hearing on the request of Fennuci Bros. Inc., d b a avy's Docker for an Entertainment License to include the following: Disc-Jockey, Recorded Music and Dancing by Patrons. Attorney Pamela Dagenais and Manager Jeffrey I olinsky were present to discuss the license application with the Board. It was noted that Fennuci Bros. Inc., d/b/a avy's Docker rents the establishment from Zine Cloutier. It is not known if taxes are paid to date with the Town. Mr. lolinsky indicated that the establishment had entertainment for seven Saturday nights without realizing that an entertainment 5 license was required by the Town. The intent of the license application is to schedule entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights only on a year round basis. Discussion followed with reference to a recent incident at the establish- ment which resulted in an arrest on the date of August 2 , 1994. Selectman Costa made reference to problems that occurred in the past at this establishment under a different name and management. He expressed preference to maintain the established reputation as a family style restaurant. With regards to the recent incident, Mr.I olinsl y indicated that he discussed the problem with the Mashpee Police Department. Actions will be taken to secure the facility from incidence. i With our own security, dancing and playing music should not b offensive indicated Mr. Iolinsk . If patrons do not have proper identification, they will not enter the establishment. The past actions of a fear people should not have to ruin it for the others indicated Mr, l; olinsky. Many people have stated that they want to go to a place to dance and have fun without going to a strip joint stated Mr. Ioinsky. Mr. I olinsky indicatedthat he is not aware of the past activities of the establishment prior to v 's Docker. It was noted that the largest crowd entering the facility was 144 people as taken by head count at the door. Chief Frye indicated that to utilize a Police officer for detail at the establishment during entertainment will create liability for the Police officer and for the establishment .
