Concerns addressed the exterior ramp in need of <br /> non-skid material and the interior ramp that is difficult to negotiate. <br /> It is also physically impossible to be seated comfortably in a wheelchair <br /> in the Selectmen's conference room indicated Mr. McGonagle. <br /> He recommended to consider holding the Selectmen's meetings in the <br /> Middle School for handicap access. <br /> Mr. McGonagle indicated that he has discussed this concern with <br /> Dr. I eMoura. It was noted that Dr. I eMoura is the ADA Chairman. <br /> The Superintendent supports televising Selectmen's meetings in the <br /> Middle School until the Town Hall is renovated indicated Mr. McGonagle. <br /> Mr. McGonagle requested the Board place the discussion pertaining to <br /> televising Selectmen's Meetings on the next agenda. <br /> Selectman dills indicated that she will request the Building Inspector to <br /> respond to the requirements of ADA. If members of the Board of <br /> Selectmen wish to change their vote pertaining to televising Selectmen's <br /> Meetings, this item will appear on the net agenda indicated Selectman <br /> Mills. <br /> If the Board does not take action to the above, the past decision will remain <br /> indicated Selectman Mills. Renovations to the municipal office facility <br /> will incorporate the wiring necessary to televise Selectmen's Meetings <br /> in the future. <br /> i <br /> Selectman Costa noted that he is in favor of wiring the Great Room <br /> for future use to televise Selectmen's Meetings. when this occurs, <br /> every meeting of every elected board should be televised. <br /> Selectman I ini io recommended to meet at the Middle School for <br /> the purpose of televising Selectmen's Meetings on a monthly basis <br /> if there is a special interest item to discuss. <br /> No action. <br />
