Lincoln DeMoura, Carl Francesch'i <br /> A quorum being Present , the chair, states that notice and post-ing <br /> of the meeting was given . After the executIve session the <br /> Meeting will not reconvene . The purpose of this executive <br /> sesslon is to del -lberate. upon matters which , if done in open <br /> meeting could detrimentally affect the position of the town , and <br /> regarding the purchase , exchange, lease or value of real <br /> property . All of the foregoing lks hereby made part of the <br /> off ic.jal rwinutes of thi' s body ,, <br /> The Committee dicur ed what to recommend -to the Selectmen <br /> regarding money . <br /> Mr . Franceschi stated the appraiser's have given h'im f-igure,<:-, of <br /> $827 , 000 for. the Center site . $660 , 000 for the. '151 site . <br /> s <br /> The $827 , 000 includes the commercial land . $710 , 000 ithe <br /> amount for DRA ' s recommendation (excluding commercla] 'land and 1 <br /> other parcel ) . <br /> Mr . Franch,! suggested a conference with the appraiser's and <br /> town course.,l to d-i scuss- speci f i cal 1 y the imp-1 i cations of tak! no <br /> parts of a "lot or lots adjacent to commercial "land . <br /> The commerclal land was valued at $1,5 , 000 per acre . <br /> The residential land valued at $6 , 000 per acre . <br /> Mr. Dinlz-io stated thos)e figures are the bare minimum. You off er <br /> that to the owners; and if they want to challenge -it you go up <br /> from there . <br /> Tom stated those figure are incredibly low numbers compared to <br /> the assessed values and -that worries him. <br /> The piece on the corner of Great Neck Road and Meetinghouse Road <br /> was not appraised ,, It is in the .itoplans but not on the list <br /> of appraisals beGause it did not look like it would be used . He <br /> thinks it make sense to leave ft in , to give flexibility in site <br /> planning , especially in light of all the (-,oncerns regarding So . <br /> Sandwich Rd traffic . <br /> in .the description he wrote up for Bob Whritenour it reads "al ] <br /> or portion of rL properties , allowing flexibility . It al lows the <br /> Selectmen to purchase, property but does not specify they have -to <br /> the property . He would recommend car broad an outl ' <br /> buy al ] ine of <br /> t t can be cut down when the <br /> the sie to allow flexibil 'ity and I <br /> site des-ign is completed . <br />
