Mr. Frederick explained the Sandwich child care center is very profitable for their community school . The Committee discussed the need for the principal of the school to come on board early . After approve.`1 of the building at fall town meeting the dutie8 of thi's committee will increase dr m tica1ly. Dr . DeMoura stated once the facility is approved the School Committee will advertise for a principal but it will tale at least 3-4 months. It was suggested a principal '" i n the consulting business my be hired to help with the design needs and meet the timetable. D r . De ou ra offered to provide information to the comm i ttee until t h th r person is hired but agreed that a design consultant will be needed. The Committee wants a person independent of the arch i tett; someone working for this ommi tt , The Superintendent' s responsibility ito the school . If it is presented right, u ing facts and figures, p op1e will go for it. Mr. Greelish stressed the need for a therapeutic pool . He agreed a poll would be beneficial .
