After review, everyone agreed to change the plan titled maximum <br /> requirements to Athletic Field Requirements and add 2 tennis courts. <br /> D r. Defou r a asked if they will show the future fields in the site plan <br /> Ray said they should determine and then show the future fields so it can be <br /> decided how much land to buy . <br /> Merry sue noted that Gus Fredricks asked for a wall , with two stations for <br /> tennis practice . <br /> It was also suggested the tennis courts be tear the parking area. <br /> Athletic Field requirements : <br /> - football stadium with 700 home and Soo visitor seats. <br /> - 10 tennis courts <br /> -- 2 baseball fields <br /> softball fields <br /> -- 4 practice fields <br /> -- 2 basketball courts <br /> The master plan should include space for future fields <br /> - 1 additional baseball <br /> I additional softball <br /> -- 2 additional practice <br /> Coin operated lighting at tennis and basketball and a conduit for lighting <br /> at the stadium and l baseball and l softball fields m, <br /> Area for an outdoor stage/amphitheater . <br /> The trash should be designed in meters . <br /> Ray Bo rdwe l l told the Committee they did a lot of work to get to this <br /> point . They made a lot of hard decisions and they ma.e them fast. It was a. <br /> smooth process and the Committee did a great j <br /> SCHEDULE <br /> Bob Fournier reviewed the design phase schedule with the Committee . He <br /> explained they met with all the consultants last week and developed this <br /> schedule . They tried to identify as many activities as they could . He <br /> highlighted some of the activities for the Committee . June 20-24 will be <br /> meeting with town departments --- police , firer cons Com, DPW, Board of <br /> Health , Town Planner . They will meet with that group again between Aug 15- <br /> 19 to review the design development and get updated input. <br /> They are comfortable saying Dec, loth they will have completed the contract <br /> documents and the project can go out to bid . <br /> June 3--17 they will install the hydrogeoloical monitoring system and from <br /> June20-July 8 they will assess that information., <br /> Aug to is a review meeting with DEP. Mr . Fournier explained , by law , the <br /> DEP can take a long time reviewing STP designs . They hope to shorten that <br /> time period by working closely and cooperatively with DEP. <br /> A meeting is scheduled with cape cod Commission May 23-274 <br /> Joe explained he spoke with Paul Griffin who mentioned Southport (across <br /> 1 5 l ) will have a. waste water treatment planta is there a way we can tie in <br /> with them, saving time and money? <br /> Mr. Fournier explained presently , state regulations say you cannot <br /> transport sewage from 1 parcel of land to another . They can work with DEP <br /> to try to get around that. They will look into !i t. <br /> 4 <br />
