SURVEY Bob Fournier explained he received a letter from BSS regarding a piece of the 151 i owned by H , Dowson . some wetlands were identified where the sewage treatment plant has to be placed , at the northeast corner . This will be an issue with the DEP, They need to know the extremity of the wetlands. They received an estimate from Fru ro East, to flag the wetlands , for $400 . 00 , M r , sa 1 i en from SMMA would prefer to use Lel i to) but the cost would remain the same . They need committee approval to direct Mr . salien to proceed with this work. It is an added expense , outside of the contract. Ian said if we don ' t do it, we w 1 1 run into troub1 e. Merry sue made a motion to authorize the architects to contract to have the wetlands pinpointed , not to exceed $400 . 00 . B! l I Jones seconded the motion . All members were in favor ,** Mr . Fournier said they will also need permission to go on some of the land at the 151 site . They asked that someone get in touch with the owners to get the permission . Merry sue made a motion to request Bob wh r i tenou r contact the 4 .property owners at the l 5 1 site to obtain permission to access their property for land surveying and hydro geol o i cal investigation . Bill Jones seconded the motion . All members were in favor . Ian will contact Bob wh r i tenon r with this request and the committee will send a letter, OLD BUSINESS Meeting with Performing Arts Center people on May 1st at 4: 00 p * m. Peter explained TK Thompson would like an advance copy of any site plans that have been developed before the meeting . Ray said the schedule calls for the completion of the schematic design by the end of Junes so we will have to have a clear direction by then ,, Peter also stated the committee should not go into the meeting with the assumption they can reimburse us for anything (shared facilities , roads , etc . ) The attitude should be this might be built in 10 years . Bill Jones said our role should be to preserve the potential for their center , if it is feasible . Peter agreed, but they have a plan that sites their facility already which has not been reviewed by anyone , They will not, however , drive our development .
