Bill Mart i ros seconded the motion . All members were in favor . ** PROJECT MANAGER REPORT Contracts - S A ' s contract has l small detail to be worked out. Bob Fournier will work on that with Bob w h r i tenon r. Chartwell has received a contract. He sent it to his i.n s u r ince agent to check on the workers comp . requirement. r9g.Ca m - the committee and architect' s came to an agreement last week . Fhe schematic design is underway. The Leisure Service space is still under A nest i gat i on . Peter explained the Selectmen made a motion , at their meeting last. night, to accept the 400 sq feet (which is presently i n the program) for the exclusive use of Leisure Services , as being sufficient for their program. Peter directed the architect ' s to try to get that space reimbursed . Bob Fournier explained that for space to be reimbursed by the State , it has to fit within the 155 sq feet, per pupil . However , if you cannot fit it in that formula , you can meet with the Mate and negotiate a reasonable amount of additional space. First, you have to identify the space that will be used by the community and then set up a meeting with GESS. The community ( rather than architects) should meet with the State, Ian asked if this 400 sq feet is in addition to the 100 sq feet for Lei sure Services? No, they will get a total of 400 sq feet Bob suggested maybe Indian education could also be considered community space. Pool Peter said a lot of people in town are still interested i n the pool . The committee and community have 2 options ; stay within the sq foot formula and try to fit the pools -- try to fit the pool within the budget -- find out how much it will cost to build the pool and go to the town and ask if they ware to bond more to build the pool . Ed Frenette commented on these options . Presently the program i s at ] S3 , 000 sq feet. The pool will take an additional 10 , 000 sq feet.
