Bill Jones seconded the motion . <br /> All members were in favor 5-0. ** <br /> CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS , <br /> Peter explained that SMMA ori ginally submitted a very expensive <br /> ' rp . The tram told them they may have to go to the <br /> second choice ., Paul Griffiin did a very good job negotiating them <br /> had budgeted , Their final fee proposal is for <br /> down to the f <br /> $1 .45 million . <br /> Peter presented SMMA# s scope of services to Committee m mbe-rs . <br /> Tonight <br /> the Selectmen wil1 vote whether or not they want to enter <br /> into a contract with sMMA. Peter has head there are some <br /> problems going on with Finance Comaittee members . <br /> Bill Jones said or a job this size , the fee is not out of line <br /> at al l . He is surprised they d i d come clown that far with their <br /> fee . <br /> Peter <br /> said some things wereeliminated from their scope because <br /> be included urde r the project manager' s scope. <br /> they will probably <br /> M 11 got down 1 to our budget. !e were pretty E app with that* <br /> Bill Ma rt i res <br /> does not see it as a problem.
