Next Step: Mr. Fournier said they hope to complete the programming i n the <br /> next 2-3 weeks . when the contract i's finalized, they will begin a survey <br /> that is critical . They will also begin work on the sewage treatment <br /> facility , 4 items to get started and completed as soon as possible: <br /> programming, contract, survey and STP. They will prepared a master schedule <br /> when the programming is done . <br /> Paul recommended setting a target date for the joint meeting with the <br /> proposed arts center, so they can begin their thought process. He suggested <br /> holding the first meeting to outline where we are and then in a few months <br /> meet again to present our final plans . A good time for the first meeting <br /> would be when we have ars elevation rendering and an idea of where we might <br /> place the school . M r. Fournier needs a copy of the information prepared b <br /> Graham Lund for the performing arts center. He will contact Mr. Gund . <br /> The committee and M r . Fournier agreed to set a meeting date with T <br /> Thompson on Tuesday, May 31st at 4 : 00 p . m. The committee will send them a <br /> letter asking them to come prepared to discuss siting issues relative to <br /> their facility and the high school . <br /> Bill Hauck, Building Inspector, mentioned there should be an emergency <br /> egress, for Fire and Police, for both facilities up to Route 151 . <br /> Steve Greelish suggested the STP design try to incorporate plant operati ons <br /> into the main structure , so it is not a separate structure , It will be <br /> beneficial overall , including cost' we do not have a lot of latitude for <br /> the siting of the infiltration Beds a they must be in the northeast co-rne r <br /> of the site only . <br /> Traffic Light: do we have to do another traffic study" <br /> Mr, Fournier said the study done for the site study will be used for the <br /> first round of approval . <br /> Mr. Fournier explained he , Paul Griffin and Ian Aitchison from Chartwell <br /> met and reviewed MMA 's scope of work as well as that proposed for <br /> Chartwell to be sure all bases are covered . At that meeting , Mr . Fournier <br /> said he thought a project manager would be a big advantage to the town and <br /> he would recommend i t. He re-iterated today the project manager's task will <br /> be helpful to the town and to the architect. <br /> The committee reviewed the updated Task List prepared b Bill Jones . Bill <br /> explained it is a list of all the tasks he can think of and is a simple war <br /> to Beep score of the progress. <br /> - Begin site studies and sketches : Mr. Fou rn ie r discussed their proposed <br /> schedule earlier~ in the meeting ,. <br /> - Athletic Fields - Peter said parents feel it is important to have some <br /> fields open when the school is open . <br /> Dr, DeMou ra said there is no requirement for fields . The amount of fields <br /> needed will depend on which students will be at the high school . The <br /> Committee discussed the issues related to the fields . The fields need time <br /> - 2 years - to grow and mature, or sod can be used which is more expensive. <br /> If they are ready for summer of 95 , then they will have to be maintained �- <br /> at a cost. <br /> The ,committee asked D r. DeMou r a to decide what fields will be needed for <br /> 2 <br />
