He introduced the firm members present and their areas of expertise. SMMA has 35 years experience. They are a full service architectural and engineering firm. They employ over so professionals: architeeis , interior designers, landscape architects , Engineers- civil , structural mechanical and electrical ,, They propose to work with the firm of Perkins and Will . They are currently working with them on a new high school in c h.e 1 sea. Perkins and Will is a nationally known firm working on educational facilities for K-12 . They are consistently receiving national recognition for their work. Mr. Frenette spent the last 3 days in Mashpee gathering information. site questions still re rain, permitting questions and how many facilities should go on that property, M r, so l i en Will assist on these issue, He has work on Mashpee commons and on the proposed performing arts center, since 1988 he has provided services to Fields Point, most recently he did the site planning and field surveying for stop and shop project. Mr. Richard Foster will deal with the nuances of facilities management. He has worked with sMMA for 20 years, He will help in the overall management of the project/process. Critical to the success of the project is the ability to maintain the budget and determine operation and maintenance costs of the building., M r. F renette said SMMA' s success comes from their ability to JL sten and thea interpret what the client wants* He cane to Mashpee to listen and try to understand ghat Mashpee wants, and how they view a successful high school .
