Strekalovsky , Elan Bradford , Mike Hickey , consu1ting Engineer , Tori Arthur, consulting Engineer They explained St rea l os y and Ho i t have been in business for 16 years . M r. Ho i t had 15 years of previous e perience. They have worked on 300 pubtic education project, it is their specialty , They are very proud of their record of bringing projects in on time and on budget. Theme projects also have a minimum of change orders , The Mash pee Middle School addition project is an example of that. The firm employs 15 people, 7 are registered architects , M r* Ho i t and project architect Ilan Bradford are the team Mlashpee would work with through the e n t i r"e p ro J ect, giving continuity to the job. They are proud of their knowledge of the GESS process, which funds projects. of the 64 projects funded by the State 1 astyear a 12 were Streal osky and Hoi t projects. Tom Arthur i s a principal at a 16 person structural engineering firm founded in 1970, They have worked with S & H since that time. Their f i rst project together was Braintree High School in 1970 . They have worked on over 20 high school projects , - new construction and renovation and 180 school projects. They have worked with S & H on many of those pro *ects . It i's important the team is cohesive and know how each other thinks . S & H brings the structural engineer in early in the process. Some firms design in isolation and then come to the engineering consultant and this leads to complications. That is not the case here . These two firms have a very good working relationship. They worked on the Middle School addition and on the original Mashpee Middle School . They have done many projects on the cape and are comfortable in this environment. Mike Hickey from Crowley Engineering represents a 35 person mechanical and electrical engineering firm. They have also worked with St ref a l o s y and Ho i t many times. They have worked on over 100 school projects, new and renovations, and many other major projects. Their biggest school project was a 35 million high school . They have a lot of high school experience, They work closely with town inspectors and town departments to determine what the town standards are . They provide the same staff through the entire process. They look for energy savings. 1
