The <br /> auto attendant should be used only for those that don' t know the extension. <br /> CCR said it is a function of the number of lines you want to pay for. <br /> Merry Sue asked is the teachers will have 2 mailboxes - 1 just for a <br /> homework line? <br /> CCR will configure it. There can be a mailbox and an announcement line. <br /> John Williams asked if the Superintendent' s calls will go through the auto <br /> attendant? <br /> Yes they will . <br /> CCR would like to go to contract documents with the voice system. They can <br /> follow up on Paul ' s comments, it can be left as an option. <br /> ** Paul made a motion to authorize CCR to continue with final contract <br /> documents , to go out to bid, for the voice/telephone system. Merry <br /> Sue seconded them motion. All members were in favor 5-0 . ** <br /> DATA SYSTEM <br /> Mike Kirwin presented their data system recommendation. Classroom <br /> computers will be 100 mhz pentiums . The other phases of the school do not <br /> have to be purchased at this point. They will identify spaces that will <br /> ben needed for September. <br /> The teacher will have a multi media package to interface with the TV in the <br /> classroom. <br /> Administration will have same hardware as student computers . <br /> Library: will have CD Roms. <br /> Merry Sue asked if the science rooms might need more machine, horsepower, <br /> speakers , etc . ? <br /> Because they are on a network, those rooms have that same option. We are <br /> buying big horsepower for everyone. <br /> John William said because we are buying in phases , if we find we need more <br /> computers in a room, things can be moved around. <br /> Paul said he has to clarify the State ' s definition of phasing . <br /> Printers : regular, low cost , medium volume printers in each classroom. <br /> Teachers and administration will have more horsepower. <br /> Library, art, science will have color printers . <br /> Administration software will be Thesis .
