** Merry Sue made a motion to forward to the Selectmen for <br /> their approval the low by of $54 , 439 . 50 by Nautilus for <br /> Sec 108 gym/fitness equipment . Janice seconded the <br /> motion. All members were in favor 6-0** <br /> Sec. 110 has some items that were not bid on so the bid is not <br /> complete. The dump truck, welding machine are missing . <br /> **Merry Sue made a motion to forward to the Selectmen for <br /> their approval and payment the low bid of $81 , 103 . 87 for <br /> Sec 110 custodial and grounds equipment. Joe seconded the <br /> motion. All members were in favor. <br /> Janice noted that the information on these bids is dated July <br /> 8th, yet Committee members do not have copies . All members <br /> should have copies to look at. Members have to operate in the <br /> blind at many meetings. <br /> Peter agrees. This is the second meeting in a row that packets of <br /> information have not been prepared by Chartwell for all the <br /> members. If the information is not ready, it should not be on <br /> the agenda. He said the Committee wasted Friday afternoon <br /> because Chartwell was not prepared. <br /> Tom Wren said the July 5th meeting was sprung on him at the last <br /> minute . He worked July 4th and therefore took July 5th off. Their <br /> contract is for a certain number of meetings per month. <br /> Paul said if they are owed additional money, that is a secondary <br /> issue to performance. <br /> Tom said he hears and understands what is being said, but this <br /> particular paper he only received yesterday and has been busy <br /> preparing for this meeting . <br /> Paul will speak to Ian about this . <br /> Steve asked about our fee arrangement with Manny Tavares? <br /> Paul said if we don't buy the item, Manny does not get paid a fee <br /> for it . <br /> ** Merry Sue made a motion to forward to the Selectmen for <br /> their approval the low bid of $58 , 586 . 35 for Sec 115 , <br /> music equipment.
