He is going to ask this Committee for i t . Paul said if there is enough money , the project should buy it at 4 instead of the school department buying it at 100%. Steve said If it i's justified , the committee should consider it. Paul explained the fill issue ., Nowa based on the documents , the fill belongs to the contractor , to be disposed of within the confines of the town . Steve is disappointed that slipped through the cracks . Paul said the issue ;„+ame down to the value of what he fill was worth . They were concerned at that t i mo about being over budget. Steve said he talked to the committee last Fall about a problem with a prior contractor and a fill issue , Paul said we won ' t have that problem this time because the fill belongs to the contractor, Steve explained last time , the top layer, goodland loom, was trucked off site and sold and then purchased back at the end of the project and brought hack to the site . NEXT MEETING: will be scheduled for May 9th at 4 : 00 p . m. If there is not enough on the agenda for that mooting } it will be canceled and the next meeting will he May 16th . A representative from Eastern returned and asked for copies of the wBE/GIBE participation submitted by Stone , from the date of the did to present. Pau-1 told them they would have to get that from Bob Wh r i teno u r . Eastern asked if the committee will not award the contract until all the documents are reviewed by the proper" authority? Paul said the committee will ask the selectmen to award the contract subject to Town Counsel ' s review . Town council will then prepare the documents for signature and it will probably be signed within the next 5-7 days . The meeting adjourned at 5 : 45 p . m.
