Ian thinks there should be an FF & E budget now, even if there <br /> are some unknowns . <br /> Janice said the Committee needs to be very critical of that <br /> budget also , as they were with the building . <br /> SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT <br /> Joel explained there are 2 weeks left to the 30 day public <br /> comment period . They will then address any issues that come up <br /> from the comment period. <br /> Paul asked if the STP subcontractor has submitted information to <br /> the DEP? <br /> Joel said they have submitted the type of system they will be <br /> using - an SBR system. They will be seeking only that one <br /> approval . <br /> Testing Agencies . Joel invited UTS to attend the first <br /> construction meeting . They talked about coordination. They are <br /> on board and ready to work as needed. <br /> Off Site Improvement Status . Ed explained there is some <br /> preparatory work to do before getting VHB going . There is a <br /> question if additional survey work is needed. They can meet the <br /> schedule . <br /> Paul explained that Greg Taylor needs the phase II work because <br /> it is a requirement to get State funding . That date is coming up <br /> soon and it has to be met - it is key! <br /> Ed explained it is still being discussed whether this is <br /> additional, services for SMMA or not , If it is not , SMMA will <br /> elect to do more of this work themselves , in house . <br /> Paul said they will not have an answer on that in the next few <br /> days . <br /> Ed said Mike Holland needs another day to finish what he is doing - <br /> - it is moving . <br /> Peter explained the intersection is a high priority with the <br /> State and County and we may have funding for the intersection <br /> before the school is complete . <br /> Operating Cost Analysis . Ed said they had 2 scope of services <br /> letters : a. contained a fall operating cost analysis . Paul said <br /> that was to be done at multiple phases , they wanted only 1 at the <br /> end phase . Ed explained that was changed, to save money, to <br /> provide an analysis as equipment was chosen. Dr. DeMoura will <br /> need some pretty good numbers by October because he will be <br /> working on that budget then. <br /> Ed said they can give a gross building mechanical and electrical <br /> cost , not per piece of equipment . There will be some things they <br /> cannot answer, i . e . janitor costs . <br /> Paul said they should provide the information they can , and the <br /> 5 <br />
