ASHPEE HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING OMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES <br /> TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 1995 <br /> HIGH SCHOOL SITE <br /> The following members were present: Merry Sue Ahlgren, Hill Martiros, <br /> Paul. Griffin, Peter Dinizio, Joe Polito. Joining the meeting were <br /> Tom <br /> Wren, Tan Aitchison, Jim Byrne, Joel. Seeley, Hill Hauck, Bob <br /> Ba.rthelmes, Steve Creelish, Ed Erenette, Gus. Frederick, Director of <br /> Ma.shpee Leisure services, John. Williams, Principal of Mashpee High <br /> School, and Andrea Adams of Cape Cod Commission. <br /> After a brief inspection of the blockwork mock-up, the meeting <br /> conveined at 4: 20 p.m* <br /> Bob H. informed the members that because of rain a proper inspection <br /> of the blockwork mock-up was not completed and that when it was dry <br /> another inspection would be done. At that time the color of the <br /> mortar would be approved by the architect. <br /> Site Inspection <br /> A meeting of last Wednesday with the subcontractor for the steel, and <br /> landscapers indicated no present problems and Costa would update the <br /> schedule by the end of the week. All other components are ready to <br /> go. An exterior study on the type of galvanizing is to be done to <br /> evaluate 6 o vs, G90, A question was asked as to the time o f actor and <br /> it was recommended that if G60 was acceptable, it would be used for <br /> derrick 1 and the remainder would be G90, as designed* <br /> Wastewater Treatment Plant: Operation and Maintenance <br /> Andrea A. of Cape Cod Commission gage a brief description of <br /> assistance that could be provided from the Commission+ she stated <br /> she could provide assistance with the Waste Water Treatment Plant <br /> (WWTP) f .in developing a Ha mat for the WWTP plan with regard to an <br /> onsite laboratory and in ordering of chemicals. It was asked if <br /> guidelines were available and she stated an example plan could be <br /> provided* she also stated she had a generic response plan from a <br /> business in Falmouth that provided emergency numbers and information <br /> regarding chemical spills. A sample of this was left with T. Wren. <br /> She further stated that a consultant should be hired for the facility <br /> design and plan, also to check on recourses for micro scaling* TO <br /> Wren provided a plan from the sandwich schools and a plan from G. H <br /> Hore which was on loan to him* Also was a plan from Fields Pt. and <br /> Willow Bend, These will be xeroxed and kept on file for future use <br /> as a check list for this plant vs. theirs. Andrea A. will try to <br /> provide a copy of the plan from. the WWTP at Falmouth Technology Park <br /> - -.-.---.--.--- Progress <br /> �onstructionpro cess <br /> Bob B. informed the members that the Football field had been <br /> completed today an that the softball and soccer were covered with <br /> peatmoss. He further added that the rain had inhibited equipment <br /> getting on the fields% He mentioned that drainage was being put in <br /> and that the electric company had provided a set up for temporary <br /> power this a.m. <br />
