Joe seconded the motion. All members were in favor 6- <br /> 0** <br /> TV Equipment : Manny explained he has received correspondence from one of <br /> the firms regarding this bid (Valley) . The State requires an authorized <br /> dealer. Manny does not specify that , he feels it limits the competition. <br /> The bottom lime is HB Communications , the low bidder is doing the TV <br /> studio , Manny has dealt with them and feels the are reliable . <br /> ** Paul made a motion to forward to the Selectmen for their approval <br /> and purchase order preparation for TV Equipment for $77 , 537 to HB <br /> Communications . Joe seconded the motion. All members were in <br /> favor 6-0** . <br /> Home Ec Equipment : <br /> ** Paul trade a motion to forward to the Selectmen for their approval <br /> and purchase order preparation $3 , 869 . 66 for Home Ec Equipment , Sec <br /> 117 . Joe seconded the motion. All members were in favor 6-0** <br /> John Williams asked if the sewing machines need a cabinet or are they free <br /> standing? Manny said they are free standing . <br /> PUNCHLTST AND OCCUPANCY OF A, B & E <br /> Paul explained there was a meeting with the fire department today. They <br /> tested the fire alarm system and it performed as required . There was a <br /> glitch with the fire door and Stone needs the electrician to re set it . <br /> They will meet again tomorrow with the fire department to test it again. <br /> The fire department also wanted all the exit hardware on doors checked. <br /> Bill Hauck said the door should come down slowly and it didn' t , it releases <br /> and drops . <br /> Joel was waiting for the test results of the generator before electrical <br /> sign off . Paul now has that information. <br /> Joel was also waiting for certification of lightning ground system and he <br /> is satisfied with the letter from the factory. <br /> There needs to be an infra red testing of the main panel board but we don' t <br /> have enough load to do the test adequately. They will wait for the building <br /> to be up and running to do it . <br /> Plumbing- there are a few punch list items above the ceiling . The lead <br /> testing came back at acceptable levels today. There is one drinking <br /> fountain that has elevated cooper level . <br /> Elias said the cooper level is insignificant but they should still flush <br /> the water fountains for 24 hours and then they will be ' re-sample . Weston <br /> and Sampson does not for see a problem with this because the tanks are all <br /> empty in the sewage treatment plant . <br /> Paul explained that last week the sewage treatment plant backed up because <br /> the painters were dumping their waste down the sewage drains . The plant <br /> couldn' t handle it . This required Stone to pump it out and they brought it <br /> to the Yarmouth school plant . <br /> 3 <br />
