a
disagree on some of those items. we can't get into that list blow by blow now,
fir. Johnson thinks we need to put a team into the building and inspect each item.
Pat Costello said that will take time.
Paul Griffin said we want as much work done during the vacation as possible. There is too
much disruption trying to work during school, after 2 p.m.
Pat Costello said what has been most disappointing over the last 6 months i s the lack of work
force out here. He understands there has been a problems with subs}but that is not our problem.
Mr. Johnson we dear what he is saying,,but we heard the same from the others. The
told
town needs something concrete to embark on any further agreements.
Mr. Johnson said he can only tell the town what his assignment is and what his interest is: to
make an unsatisfied town satisfied. Stone wants to finish the Job without a default. They want a
cooperative work environment. They want to finish the work they can and negotiate on the work
they can't.
Stone wants to comae to an understanding on the items on the punch list, identify
Bob a said t g
them do therm and confirm they are done satisfactorily and move on. Stones end is to avoid
default and satin their client. The towns end,to complete the project AP - satisfactorily.
There is certain information we need to be on the same page about before moving onto the next
level. we can sit down today, if possible, with the architects and go over the punch list. Roll up
our sleeves and do a first cut of those items that need to be done, where we are on the list, items
we agree to disagree on and address those, Once that process is done, Stone can define what
needs to be done on a parallel track. Next geek we can begin to negotiate damages and the items
that can't be done.
Pat Costello agrees it a it is absolutelyto identifythe do able items of work ASAP. And

necessa
then if we are miles apart on the value...
Bob Lizza is not concerned about the, value now as much as what items are to be done.
Pat Costello said they go hand in hand. Stone won't get the money until the work is done.
These unsatisfactory work lists have been around for months, they are not mystery items.& This
work should be on going.
Jim Johnson said they are not mysteries, 80% of them have been successfully addressed.
He is not sure what the next step is.
Pat Costello said no decision will be made today. The town was hoping to leave this meeting
with a sense that it is doable or not.
Mr. Johnson asked if they couldg eta polling of the people here.
Pat Costello does not think that is necessary.
He asked if they have a schedule for the town to look at?
Johnson distributed a schedule which addresses the items in Joel eeley's Jan "letter.
Bob Lizza added if you take certain items out that will be negotiated, those presumptions may
cbange.
Mr. Johnson said it is a bar chart, not a work schedule. It is Just another way to present the
information from.Joel's letter.
4
