Additional thanks to Lee Horner,the KCC Science Committee and volunteers for the very-well prepared and extremely well attended Science Night with over 900 visitors! • Our Science Night could not have been such a huge success without the support of Mashpee Water Department for their display and for donations of water bottles to all students;the Mashpee Department of Public Works for the recycling presentation and collection old crayons to be made into new crayons;Mashpee Children's Museum for the hands-on water cycle display and Peter White,Mashpee Environmental Coalition for the Mashpee River Woodlands display. Thank you so much for your contributions. • Thank you to PTO for sponsoring the St.Patrick's Day Dance. • Thank you to Janet Trask at Mashpee Public Library for assisting with the set up of the staff professional day on March 14. • Thank you to Dave Pocknett of the Red Hawk Drummers and Shani Turner,Indian Education Coordinator,for meeting with specialists to prepare Native American cultural materials to incorporate into grade level curriculum prior to the March 21 Red Hawk Drummers assemblies. • Thank you to Kim Palmer,Art Specialist,for organizing the Symmetry Tile artt mural project. • Thank you to Tim Souza,Kindergarten Teacher for sponsoring KinderKicks and to Robin Phelan,Occupational Therapist, for sponsoring Creative Movement through the PEP Grant.
