Otherwise, a student is accompanied by an adult. <br /> student arriving late to school must obtain an office pass for admission. A student arriving late <br /> mut be escorted to the office by a parent cruardian or a person designated by them and MLL t have a <br /> note from the parent/guardian regarding the reason for tardiness. Snack is either in the morning or afternoon, <br /> per their daily schedule. Teachers will notify you in September regarding snacks in your child's <br /> classroom. <br /> Some suggestions are plain popcorn, soy nuts, pretzels, Wheat Thins, T'risets, yoout applesauce, <br /> cheese slices, raisins, cherry tomatoes, cottage cheese; cut LIP vegetables such as carrots, celery, <br /> cucumbers, broccoli; cut LIP or whole fruits such as pears, raspberries, strawberries, bananas, kiwis, <br /> plums, nectarines, watermelon, apples, oranges, cantaloupe, peaches, grapes, cherries, blueberries; a <br /> bagel, tortilla chips, graham crackers, Unnower seeds, pumpkin in seeds, lunchmeat slices, granola <br /> bars, breadsticks, a muffin, corn aks and bottled water, Pre-packaged snacks should be avoided as <br /> most are loaded with preservatives, sugar, sodium and carbohydrates that are not nutritionally <br /> beneficial to your child. Also, refer to wellness Policy in this handbook. <br />
