New computers have arrived in the room. <br /> Students may apply to the governor's statewide youth council. <br /> Appreciation forms were sent to the Quashnet students that come to after school Indian <br /> Education. <br /> Will ask Patty Deboer, principal of the Quashnet School, if middle/high school students <br /> can tutor Quashnet students. <br /> 8. Public Comment— <br /> Can there be a cultural time at KCC like there is at Quashnet? <br /> Not a lot of students are coming to Quashnet after school IE. <br /> Discipline issues need to be addressed. <br /> A call for an investigation of the school district was made. <br /> Do state guidelines override federal? <br /> No phone call was received as a reminder to the meeting. <br /> 9. New Business <br /> Next agenda: What about adopted natives? <br /> 10. Adjourn. Next meeting is scheduled for May 8, 2012 at 6:00. Allyson Pocknett made <br /> a motion to adjourn the meeting, It was seconded; unanimous. The meeting was <br /> adjourned at 9:10. <br />
