4 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> December 2.I, 2009 <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE- <br /> Winter <br /> RRESP IDE CE:Winter Storm Update <br /> The Selectmen commented positively on the efforts ofthe Department <br /> Public Works during the recent snow storm. Although several residents <br /> were reported to be unpleased with the Town's service, it was agreed the <br /> snow was a tough storm to plow for the DPW and its subcontractors. For <br /> disclosure, it was noted the Ton has the ability to deficit spend in the <br /> Snow & lee Account and did not cut back on plowing and sanding due t <br /> present economies. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND I.1EARNGS; <br /> Public Hearing.—Annual Liquor License Renewals: <br /> The Board ofSelectmen acting as the Licensing thorit for the Town of <br /> Mashpee opened the Public Hearing on the Annual Liquor License <br /> Renewals. The Hearing notice was read aloud for informational purposes. <br /> It was disclosed that all liquor license holders have been inspected and <br /> approved by the Building and Fire Departments. There are no reported <br /> violations with the Police Department and all license holders have <br /> submitted proof of Workers' Compensation Insurance as mandated by the <br /> State of Massachusetts. <br /> Being no comment, the Board motioned to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to close the Public. Hearing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahaiane to approve the Annual Liquor <br /> License renewal of the following Package Store Licenses—All <br /> Alcohol; <br /> Andy's Market <br /> The Barn <br /> Best Buy Beverage, Inc. <br /> Liberty Liquors <br /> Seabury Spirits <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. - . <br />
