The job <br /> description has not been changed since 1980. The Human resource <br /> Director has recommended the job duties as proposed be placed in the <br /> same classification as Heavy Equipment Operator. The position of <br /> Mechanic will be advertised at Step 1 of the intended pay scale. <br /> At their last meeting, the Selectmen approved the advertisement of the <br /> Mechanic position subject to the review of the job description and pay <br /> scale. The Selectmen were in support of the job description and intended <br /> pay scale as outlined. No further action was required. <br />
