Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> June 7, 2010 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Hearing—Private to Public Toad Conversion—Ba shore <br /> Drive rooksid Circle: continued <br /> It was agreed that Bshore Ir*ve is in need of leveler course hover, it <br /> was not clear if Brookside Circle is need of this repair. This matter will <br /> he reviewed by the DPW Director. It was noted the Town reviews all cost <br /> assumptions to minimize the betterment costs to the homeowner. <br /> Herb Bearak of 14 Bayshore Drive a residenti 1991 indicted he hired <br /> a local contractor to pave his driveway at the time of the Water District <br /> installation. Presently, his driveway has cracking at the bottom of the <br /> eve where it connects to the street. In his opinion,the street appears to <br /> look fine, but there are visible cracks and drainage issues. Mr. Bearak <br /> recommended the Town take over the entire street, complete what is <br /> necessary, and each resident should he responsible for the expense as it <br /> relates to the general area. <br /> Being no further comment, the Selectmen motioned to close the hean*ng. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectmen Sherman. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous.' -0. <br /> Rall Call vote: <br /> Selectman Cook,yes Selectman Cahalane,yes <br /> Selectman Richardson,yes Selectman Taylor,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes opposed, none <br /> It was disclosed this is the first phase of a tiro-phase petition process. <br /> After the hearing, if the abutters choose to move forward, a second <br /> petition must he submitted to the selectmen's Office to allow the matter to <br /> be placed on a future Town Meeting warrant. <br />
