The National Grid will complete the <br /> installation process in two weeks. <br /> The postcards have been mailed for the public forum on Monday, June 2 , <br /> 2010 to be held at the Senior Center. The public meeting will consider the <br /> conversion of several private roads to Ton roads. <br /> F w <br /> With regards to the Santuit Pond Daum, a meeting is scheduled with Dor <br /> Liptack of the USDA. work related to the failed darn is expected to be <br /> completed by November of 201 L <br /> Environmental Oversi -i Committee. <br /> The EOC Committee,an ad hoc committee of the Board of Selectmen is <br /> expected to bring forth a recommendation to the Selectmen regarding a <br /> possible change of description with respect to committee responsibilities. <br /> In an effort to protect the environment,the EOC is reviewing the potential <br /> of a new bylaw which would regulate the use of phosphorus fertilizers. A <br /> report is anticipated to be presented to the Selectmen regarding this <br /> Boner . It was noted the survey related to the Local Comprehensive Plan <br /> asked the question regarding the potential to regulate phosphorus, and <br /> %of the survey participants voted mn support of this regulation. <br /> _ r <br /> The E C is expected to make a recommendation to the Board o <br /> Selectmen with respect to the Santuit Pond Study. <br /> Schools: <br /> It was reported the Schools have prepaid the Special Education tuition <br /> expending $338,000. The Board questioned the early payment and <br /> availability of funding as the School Department recently requested <br /> $45 0,,000 in Stabilization Funds at the May 2010 Town Meeting. It is <br /> unclear with respect to the School Department's logic.to expend f mds for <br /> prepayment, new positions and raises during a time of tight fiscal <br /> constraints. <br /> k <br />
