It is necessary to re-authorize the appropriation of this funding on <br /> an annual basis. <br /> The Community Preservation Committee voted unanimously 7-0 in support of <br /> this article. <br /> Article 12 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to re-authorize the Council on Aging revolving fund, <br /> through the Town Accountant, in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 44, §53EY2 to <br /> be expended under the direction of the Council on Aging; said fund to be funded <br /> by revenues collected from Council on Aging program income and expended for <br /> purposes furthering the operation of programs by the Council on Aging, and to <br /> establish the limit on expenditures from said account for FY 2015 at $15,000, or <br /> take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Council on Aging <br /> Explanation: The revolving account is required in order to receive and disburse <br /> funds generated through programs supported by such revolving fund, such as <br /> senior trips, educational programs., educational program staff, transportation <br /> programs, exercise programs, etc. Revenues will be used to offset expenses <br /> related to these programs and activities. <br /> Article 13 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to re-authorize the Library Revolving Account, <br /> through the Town Accountant's Office, in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 44, <br /> §53EY to be expended under the direction of the Library, in order to place <br /> anticipated revenues collected from fines and fees, which shall be used to further <br /> the operation of programs and services under the Library, and to establish the <br /> limit on expenditures from said account for FY 2015 at $15,000, or take any other <br /> action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Library Board of Trustees <br /> Explanation: This revolving account is required in order to receive and disburse <br /> funds generated through services supported by the revolving fund such as <br /> purchasing supplies and library materials, as well as personnel and program <br /> expenses.
