Mr. Weeden will verify whether it would be available online for public <br /> comment. There was discussion regarding who would be attending One Cape Summit. <br /> Community Preservation Committee-The Chair reported that there would be a meeting <br /> tomorrow. <br /> Design Review Committee-No meeting <br /> Environmental Oversight Committee-Mr. Cummings reported that a Community Gardens <br /> Advisory Committee had been established. The EOC would be considering a Bylaw regarding plastic <br /> straws, which were not recyclable. Mr. Cummings reported that only $100,000 of the $1 million grant <br /> had been spent on the shellfish project and it was believed that they had already accomplished 113 of <br /> the impact they had expected. Mr. Cumming further noted that Mashpee was leading the country in <br /> addressing nitrogen issues with shellfish,though it was noted that it would not solve the entire issue <br /> and sewering would stili be needed. Additionally,the Lawn Fertilizer Bylaw had been approved by <br /> the Attorney General. Santuit Pond was facing challenges with the increase in algae, boards had been <br /> removed at Johns Pond dam, pollinator gardens were doing well, the Santuit parking lot would be <br /> decorated and dumping was occurring at Holland Mills. The Chair referenced questions raised about <br /> the work being done to save the Mashpee River with the shellfish program, while also allowing the <br /> potential for increased effluent with development in the Mashpee Commons area. <br /> Historic District Commission-No meeting <br /> M1%4R Military Civilian Community Council-MMR Joint Land Use Study--No <br /> meeting <br /> Plan Review-No meeting <br /> Greenway Project& Quashnet Footbridge-A volunteer with an auger would be assisting <br /> with identifying a location on site. Mr. Lehrer recommended using a GPS since cell phones did not <br /> work well in the area. Mr. Weeden reported that the Tribe had equipment, but that he was still <br /> completing the training. Mr. Lehrer stated that if he was provided with the XYZ data, he could plot the <br /> location on GIS. Mr. Hansen volunteered to participate with his car's GPS unit.
